herbal-friendly pregnancy books

i've been asked which pregnancy books i recommend...specifically those that are herbal-friendly. i want to stress the importance of knowing which herbs are safe to take during pregnancy. i wouldn't rely on books alone as a resource; if you're not experienced with herbs yourself (or even if you are)...i would recommend getting the second opinion of a respected (and experienced) herbalist or mid-wife to double check what you're taking just in case. after all your own research upon research, of course.

herbal healing for women by rosemary gladstar...is a great reference book for women in all stages of life, with a wonderful section on pregnancy.

the natural pregnancy book by aviva romm...aviva is a mid-wife (and physician) and herbalist with many, many years of experience. a must have, i think.

wise woman herbal for the childbearing year by susun weed hands down the most informative and conclusive herbal reference for before conception and during pregnancy.

naturally healthy pregnancy by shonda parker...this book has a strong christian bend to it, if that's bothersome to you i would skip it altogether. it does have some great information regardless!

2 nursing books that were recommended to me, but that i have yet to explore in depth:

the nursing mother's companion by kathleen huggins

and

the nursing mother's herbal by sheila humphrey
